Update on Haside Breslev Online - Development

Gut Erev Shabbos!

As our site continues to take shape, we will try to notify our readers about changes, trends, etc. Here are some recent decisions regarding site content:

Lifecycle Events - Regular postings of the yahrzeits of tzaddikim, weddings, petiras, cholim tehillim lists, and other important lifecycle events. To notify us of a wedding, bris, etc., please send an e-mail to the editor.

Yotzei le-Ohr/Book Sellers - Announcements of newly published/re-issued Breslov books. Also, we are attempting to compile a list of Breslov booksellers in all English speaking countries. If you know of such a resource in your area, please send us an e-mail!

News - Notices of important events in the Breslov velt as well as the general chassidishe velt. We desperately need individuals in the various Breslov chaburas to volunteer as liaisons to keep our site informed of developments and news. Please note that this site is apolitical and unaffiliated with any particular chabura in Breslov. As such, inflammatory or derogatory information will be edited out at our discretion. In other words - NO LASHON HORA!

Uman, Uman, Rosh ha-Shanah! - Starting at the beginning of each summer our site will post up-to-date, must-know information about planning your trip to the holy kibbutz of Rebbe Nachman in Uman, Ukraine. Will will also run advertisements for numerous travel agencies in English speaking lands who would be able to assist you in planning this most important annual event.

Breslov Community Guide / Cooperation- We are also trying to compile a list of Breslov resources and contacts world wide. Included would be a list of regular shiurim in Rabbenu's seforim, a directory of Breslov shuls, and a list of online shiurim. Also, we would like to assemble a learn-by-phone chavrusa program. Another project of ours, and indeed one of the most important, is to develop a network of Akhsanoim who would be willing to provide accommodations for meshulachim and other traveling fundraisers from the Breslov communities in Erets Yisrael.

If you would like to assist in any of these endeavors, please contact the editor as soon as possible.

Remember to Daven with simcha! - Gut Shabbos.
